Visual poetry: highlights of spring [+ video]

Amongst the crazy busyness of the Raglan Arts Weekend, getting my holiday pop-up shop up and running, AND joining a 6-month Creative Immersion… I did manage to get out and about with my camera!

Here you go – a spot of spring visual poetry. Click play for bright, cheerful blossom, getting messy in the garden, and of course, a lot of cute noses. Yup, the lambs are getting bigger!

Watch time: just over a minute. If you enjoyed this video, please help me out and like + comment on YouTube!

You might have noticed the lack of one particular nose. I’m sad to report that Kepler goat died. It’s a mystery. One day he moaned at me that he was a bit under the weather. So, we shoved medicine into him and he seemed happy enough. And then suddenly he was dying in my arms. I miss my little buddy so much. Rest in peace, little Kep.

I don’t know about you, but I’m hanging out for the holidays. Really feeling the need to relax and unwind from this crazy year.

There’s still time left to order from my pop-up holiday shop if you wish. Or from the Beautiful Things shop. (They’re making fabulous risograph prints, pins, and prints on wood with the ballerinas and latin dancers from my Spotlight collection. So cool!)

Mostly, I’d like to thank you so much for your support this year – reading my newsletters, watching my videos, connecting with me on social media, sharing my work, chatting with me at events. And a special thank you if you’re one of my wonderful patrons. It all means a lot to me, thank you!

So, I’m signing off for 2020 to take that well-needed break. I’ll be back in the new year with more art adventures. (And I have to tell you about this mysterious Creative Immersion!)

Until then, take care and I hope you have beautiful, relaxing summer holidays.
