The baby chickens were adorable but check this cuteness out

Some more cute for your day

As well as our baby chicks, we have 9 fluffy little ducklings. So I spent a few more hours in the sun, sketching.

To be a duckling, here’s what you have to do:

  • Follow the food provider (yes, that means I’m duckling mother #2)
  • Peep madly when you can’t see the food provider (even though she’s right there!)
  • Don’t stand when you can sit (get to where you want to nibble, then plop down!)
  • Shake your tail… a lot
  • Scurry out of the way of chickens – they’re mean!
  • The drinking bowl (or any source of water) is for swimming in

While I was sitting there, the chicks decided I was a perfect playground and proceeded to run all over me. My toes caused a lot of interest – apparently they look quite delicious!

Playing on their new jungle gym was so tiring so they flitted off and bundled up next to mum for a preen. Haven’t they grown!

Running all over Ailene is exhausting! Time for a preen next to mum.

Hope you have a great day. Share the cute!

Keep on shining bright,
