My mermaid adventure grand finale: the painting revealed

My mermaid adventure is done! Here’s the finished painting of the water dancers and their story:

Sunseeker’s song changed, and abruptly we caught the ghostly scent as well. One by one, our pod surged out of the murky depths, trailing sparks of joyful luminescence. We sang in the warmth of the Waylight, surrounded by the promise of the Bright.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my mermaid adventure as much as I have!

Until next adventure! (It’s a goody. Next time I’ll reveal the exciting, top secret project I’ve been working on with a young ballerina. Be ready for romance, love, betrayal, heartbreak, madness, ghosts, revenge and forgiveness… phew!)

Keep on shining bright,

Ailene

  1. thanks for the wonderful journey that you have unfolded over time and now the finished artwork…I’m sure that the mermaid theme of ethereal ideal will come through in future “works”

every time, I read your art-blog, it reminds me that I still haven’t made dedicated art-blog… rather I interlace some art-journey into my regular blog.
