Glowing in the moonlight, a young ballerina is surrounded by ghostly, white-gowned figures.

The trees cast dark shadows in the moonlight. Mist swirls through the clearing in the forest. Beside a crude wooden cross, a pale spirit dressed in white rises from the grave. It is Giselle.

Around her drift the wilis like ghostly brides. Myrtha, their queen, stands before Giselle, cradling her magic wand of myrtle branches.

“Join us,” she commands.

Giselle glides forward, her feet barely touching the ground.

It is always very special to be able to take home a memento of a great holiday break and I am delighted with “Freed from the Earth”. I was immediately drawn to the ethereal quality of Paige’s dance and the way you had portrayed her gown. She is now hanging in our home and looking just lovely – makes me smile every time I look at it.
